Wax Research Inc. is looking for a dynamic and detail oriented individual responsible for assisting the Sales & Marketing Manager with distributor/wholesale account inquiries, social media marketing, and support for the ecommerce and shipping department. The successful candidate will be well versed in order procedures.

*QuickBooks experience a plus, have great record keeping abilities, and a customer-oriented approach. This role will work with sales, production, and logistics to ensure the smooth processing of orders and fulfillment.

*Knowledge of the Surf, Snow, and Cycling Industries strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Sales
• Create and maintain relationships with new and existing wholesale dealers supporting them in the buying process by processing orders and keeping up communications under direction of Sales & Marketing Manager
• Assist Sales & Marketing Manager by communicating with Reps (WEND), processing orders, & developing sales materials
• Assist Sales Team by carrying out brand strategies and marketing plans to enlighten customers/potential customers in creative ways
• Data entry of all sales process
• Oversee ecommerce sales channels + monitoring and updating inventory
• General support to the sales team as required, travel cover, etc.
• A/R payment processing
• Phone Support

Marketing
• Work with Marketing Manager & Coordinator to collaborate on creative for packaging, catalogs & all sales aids as well as help oversee outside projects for both Surf & Snow brands
• Support and contribute to the planning and production of company events
• Facilitate online and social media communications for all company platforms, contribute content and ideas for brands.
• Assist Sales & Marketing Manager in communicating with athletes/teams to educate and provide guidance for successful online marketing strategies as well as gather content for in-house use
• Aid in identifying opportunities and key partnerships to build brand awareness
• Participate in marketing strategy and plans; analyzing trends, competitors, new products and results
• Assist in the maintenance of brand websites including regular updates and blogs to create fresh and up-to-date profiles, especially WEND site
• Special projects as needed
• Maintain surf and snow event calendars
