Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for contributing to the profit and growth of the Sports Division Sales channel of trade of the Wholesale Division, N.A by supporting the customers and Division sales team. The Coordinator monitors order fulfillment, complies with customer requests, and provides marketing support. Additionally, the Coordinator mines sales data and produces reports to provide a continual flow of updated sales results for benchmarking and measurement of performance, budget, and incentive compensation. The Coordinator is the Sports Division’s point-of-contact for customers, liaises with all external Key Accounts and customers and internal customers including the Sales Administration, Customer Relations, Product Management, Marketing, MIS, Distribution Services, corporate planning and related, cross functional work groups as required to meet goals and objectives. The Coordinator travels occasionally to Sports Division’s key accounts to deliver product training to customer associates.


Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Education and/or Experience:
·Bachelors Degree

·1-3 years experience in similar type role with customer service and analysis (experience in a customer service/distribution environment preferred)

·Equivalent combination of education and experience


Other Skills and Abilities:
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Strong project management skills demonstrated initiative to deliver results in a self-directed environment, working independently with minimal supervision

·Ability to conduct customer presentations and product training to key accounts associates and at sport trade shows

·Strong analytical and mathematical skills – able to extract conclusions from available data, analyze, prepare statistical data and use basic metrics (subtract, addition, multiplication, percentages)

·Excellent PC skills including MS Office: Word, Excel at an intermediate level
oExcel – ability/aptitude to learn/create spreadsheets developing formulas
oPowerPoint – presentations, reports Beginner/Intermediate)

·Some experience working on a legacy/enterprise database system with data input and retrieval

·Product Management Software - ability to use relating to product styles and purchasing, including accessing & utilizing customers’ fulfillment software

·Database – AS400 experience a plus

·Must be familiar with all Sport Division product lines and customer base

·Knowledge of, interest and/or experience in sports (action sports or outdoor) as related to Sport Division’s product lines is a big plus
