Position Overview
The Brand Sales Operations Manager is responsible for day to day management, support and analysis for identified Waypoint Brands and Key Retailers. This individual will exercise a strong understanding of Waypoint’s service philosophy, the outdoor industry business, and identified Brands and Key Accounts represented by Waypoint Outdoor. This position will exercise ownership over Sales Forecasting and Planning, Brand Sales Reporting and Tracking, Seasonal Brand Calendar adherence, Key Account Order books, Order Management, and Communication. This individual is the key owner of identifying and facilitating information between Brands, Customer Service, and Key Accounts on a day to day basis.

This position requires leveraging expert knowledge of Waypoint Outdoor’s Business and Service philosophy, as well as the Outdoor Industry from a business perspective, to ensure Brand and Key Account tactical day to day needs are met. Areas of responsibility includes, but are not limited to:

• Sales Forecasting/Planning: Working closely with the Brand Manager, Brands, and Key Accounts, identifying and communicating Account and Brand Sales Plans, triangulating with brands, and ensuring appropriate order book and plans are implemented to meet expected Sales.
• Reporting/Agency/Sales Data: Facilitate data transparency by updating and maintaining Agency (SalesPoint) and Rep (Assortment tracker, weekly sales reports, etc) tools with appropriate Sales data, ensuring data integrity and appropriate data entered in timely fashion to enable agency and brand tracking to plans.
• Analysis: Working closely with Brand Managers, create and maintain templates and tools and data for scheduled and ad-hoc sales analysis needs.
• Seasonal Brand Calendar adherence and Data Set up: Drive Seasonal data set up and maintenance for Brand data for Key Accounts, ensuring data integrity is maintained and seamless seasonal launch is delivered.
• Order Book ownership: Ensure orders are received on time, entering correctly in the system, and work closely with the Brand to ensure on-time delivery.
• Order Management: Analyze and liase effectively between brands and Key Accounts to ensure issues are identified and resolved before they become large, and facilitate communication when needed.
• Communication: Liase efficiently and effectively between the Brand, Customer Service, and Key Accounts to ensure appropriate service is delivered.
• Sell in activities: Drive preparation for Seasonal sell in activities (Sales Meeting, Trade Show, Line showings), including preparing reports, selling tools, and Sample Requests.
• Other projects as assigned by the Brand Manager.

This person owns the triangulation between the Brand, Customer Service, and Key Accounts from a day to day tactical perspective. This individual will utilize their knowledge of the outdoor industry and Waypoint’s philosophy to ensure Brand and Customer needs are met and exceeded on a day to day tactical level basis.
