As a Scrum Master, you will manage the iteration activities of the teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with the Product Owner on roadmap planning, prioritization, and goals for the teams. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring various roles and levels of the organization.

This position will be based in Lawrence, MA on a hybrid work model 3 days a week (Tue - Thurs).

 

Major Accountabilities 

 

·       Servant leader and coach to one or more Agile non software development teams and leadership on Agile practices

·       Build and measure organization’s Agile maturity

·       Assist to determine best approach for Agile transformation for teams that have significant vendor development

·       Identify vendor activity management approach and dependency management guidelines

·       Facilitate Agile ceremonies

·       Collaborate with the Product Owner on backlog refinement, defining Epic level acceptance criteria and writing/estimating user stories

·       Establish team capacity, velocity, and manage iterations accordingly

·       Establish team level Definition of Ready and Definition of Done

·       Assist in defining the goals for each iteration

·       Assist with optimization of support process

·       Help the teams identify and remove impediments and manage dependencies

·       In collaboration with the Product Owner, provide demo information at end of an iteration to stakeholders

·       Communicate team level metrics

·       Assist with creation and implementation of test strategy/execution

·       Work with the Agile Delivery Team to create training content

 

Requirements for Success 

 

·       2-4 years in a Scrum Master or Product Management role

·       Thorough knowledge and use of agile tools, i.e., Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.

·       Strong written and verbal communication

·       Ability to work across functional groups

·       Ability to identify gaps as well as areas of improvement and provide recommendations

·       Ability to adapt and pivot quickly to changing priorities

 

Preferred Experience/Skills 

·       Certified Agile Practitioner (CSM, PSM 1)

·       Active involvement in the Agile community

Flexible Work Schedule
