Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:The Senior Business Analyst acts as the conduit between Information Systems and multiple business teams. You support our configuration and integration projects by eliciting and analyzing requirements, liaising between business and technical resources, and documenting business processes or systems and their integration. You are a critical thinker who enjoys diving into the details and seeks to understand the “hows” and “whys”. Meet Your Future Team:The ERP and Business Applications department is comprised of a team of technical professionals and subject matter experts who know and understand the tools that we use to support the business. We strategically define business cases, prioritize projects, and deliver ERP and Commercial projects, ensuring that dependencies are mapped out and sequenced to deliver the overall IS Roadmap. Together, we host, manage, and improve a range of technical tools for all aspects of design, business, finance, logistics, global sales, and many other heroes within the organization. If you were the Senior Business Analyst now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Requirements Gathering: Collaborating with business stakeholders and end-users to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements related to SAP systems and processes! Business Process Analysis: Assessing current business processes, identifying gaps, and proposing SAP-based solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce manual efforts, and streamline operations! Functional Design: Working with SAP Functional Consultants to translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and standards! Test Planning and Execution: Assisting with the development of comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and scripts. Conducting testing activities to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and usability of SAP solutions! Change Management: Developing change management strategies and plans to ensure a smooth transition to new or enhanced SAP systems, and provide end-user training and support during the change process.! Collaboration and Communication: Partnering with key stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and external vendors, to facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.! Continuous Improvement: Staying up-to-date with the latest SAP trends, technologies, and industry best practices. Identifying opportunities for system optimization, automation, and enhanced user experience.! Documentation and Training: Creating and maintaining accurate documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials. Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:! Organizing and leading requirements gathering and creating documentation for large, high impact projects! Using your influence and expertise in business and technology in support of our evolution of enterprise systems! Advocating for our products, change management, and SDLC best practicesAre you our next Senior Business Analyst?! You have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field, completion of a recognized Business Analysis program, and/or equivalent business experience! You have 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, working on projects related to supply-chain with retail fashion experience as an added benefit! You have 5+ years of experience with SAP S4 HANA or other Tier-1 ERP Systems (Oracle, Microsoft, etc)! You have demonstrated experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence! You have experience with working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies! You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders! You have excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts and requirements efficiently! You are comfortable eliciting technical requirements, as well as preparing documentation to be used for training! You have strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities! You are comfortable presenting to and training small to medium sized groups! You excel at analytical and critical thinking! You are a driven self-starter with the willingness to see things through to the end! You have experience working in the (Outdoor) Apparel industry! You are able to hit the ground running, can quickly absorb, modify and adapt new information, and work in a changing and evolving environment, to ensure a successful project delivery! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration! You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement!
