<p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>About THNY Creative Studio</b></span></p><p>The THNY Creative Studio is a full-service, in-house integrated creative agency, supporting marketing and communications initiatives for Tommy Hilfiger, The Americas.</p><p>The Studio Team is responsible for all areas of creative development and execution across all marketing channels supporting the E-commerce, Wholesale, Company Stores (Outlet) and Adaptive business.</p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>POSITION SUMMARY: </b></span></p><p>Tommy Hilfiger is seeking a seasoned Sr. Copywriter to join the THNY Creative Studio who will be responsible for writing accurate, on-brand and engaging consumer messaging, ensuring the Tommy Hilfiger voice is clear, concise and consistent. They will work closely with cross-functional teams at all levels to develop on brand copy and concepts that can be messaged across all channels. Working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, this role requires a dedication to effective messaging and outstanding grammar, a strong interest in fashion and experience as a cross-divisional partner.</p><p></p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>RESPONSIBILITIES: </b></span></p><p></p><ul><li>Develop original, innovative, clear, persuasive brand copy that strategically delivers key messaging that meets business needs and promotes seasonal campaigns, key launches and product stories across all channels, including but not limited to POS collateral, DTC (Direct-to-Consumer), emails, site content, social and paid media, with opportunities to contribute elsewhere (special events, runway show, etc.) on an ad-hoc basis</li><li>Work closely with the Global team and Sr. Director Creative Marketing Operations to drive seasonal concept and messaging creative development from ideation to execution for multi-channel campaigns and collateral</li><li>Create and edit scrips for advertising campaigns, responsible for on-set direction and interaction with case as needed to achieve required content</li><li>Translate product stories and marketing needs into seasonal content that meets both business and brand objectives, building consumer interest and engagement across all touch points</li><li>Skillful communicator, able to articulate and present engaging concepts as needed to ensure concept buy in from cross-functional partners and leadership</li><li>Liase with the legal team to clear names/colors, secure copyrights and trademarks and keep accurate records of all written intellectual proprieties</li><li>Maintain systems and copy bank for all copy; create database of all copy rounds, both current and final product copy, cleared product/franchise names, short form and long form descriptions, and any other product attributes or marketing copy</li><li>Stay abreast of current consumer and competitive trends and adapt the Tommy voice according to what is relevant and on-brand</li><li>Be on top of fashion terminology and trends with the ability to determine the product or historic details worth writing about and the foresight to find them if needed</li><li>Ensure copy is factual, branded partners are properly attributed and projects are vetted through legal when necessary, adhering to all regulatory and compliance regulations</li><li>Ability to line edit and proofread all assets being sent to market</li><li>Ability to develop clear timelines and ensure work is completed on-time and that copy team and creative studio are able to access needed materials</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></span></p><p><b> </b></p><ul><li>5-7 years of copywriting experience, preferably for a fashion/retail brand</li><li>Bachelors degree; English, Journalism, Communications or Creative Writing degree, preferred writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles</li><li>Outstanding grammar, punctuation and copy-editing skills</li><li>Keen understanding of the English language and history of fashion</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Must be extremely detail oriented with a passion for accuracy</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced/high-pressure environment</li><li>Project management skills must include an ability to organize, prioritize and structure multiple projects simultaneously, reconcile incoming content and direction, and work as a partner across multiple teams and personalities</li><li>Able to handle multiple projects with adherence to deadlines and be highly organized</li><li>Able to work independently as well as on group projects and be self-motivated and confident with some decision making</li><li>Ability to manage up, down and across with positive results</li><li>Ability to think creatively, sometimes on the fly</li><li>A solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles</li><li>An exceptional copywriting portfolio with self-crated samples of multiple types of writing including brand copy, ad/marketing copy, product naming and descriptions, long and short form copy</li><li>MAC Skills, Excel, Keynote, PowerPoint and Workfront preferred</li><li>Responsible for reconciling invoices related to editorial projects, keeping the editorial budget tracker up to date, and sending to Marketing for processing</li><li>Must be a self-starter with the ability to see the big picture in timeline and resource planning. Be adept at collaboratively working with varied personalities and cross-functional departments</li><li>Have the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects within adherence to deadlines and budgets</li><li>Must be able to work both as a team member and independently. Must be flexible to adapt to shifting priorities</li><li>Ability to work in fluid environment with changing priorities required</li><li>No travel required</li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-LS2</p><p>#LI-Hybrid</p><p><b>The Company will not sponsor applicants to this position for work visas or any other work permits</b></p><p>Pay Range: $60.00 - $90.00<br>PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
