Senior Cost & Standards Engineer
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Were looking for a senior cost standards engineer in Korea. This role proactively works with Factory Partners, Developers, Dimension Team, and Costing Teams to review and interpret factory cost breakdown and its impact on the total weighted margin.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will provide and perform scenario analysis regarding materials, component, technology, productivity, gross price margin, and foreign exchange changes to help the team achieve target gross price margin per season whilst meeting seasonal critical deadlines. You will leverage historical information and models to prepare and present information to the dimension team and costing counterparts to help establish Free on Board (FOB) and factory negotiation. Use your in depth knowledge and experience in footwear manaufaciting and fincance to effectively communicates pertinent costing model information to the dimension and costing organization. Seasonal FOB confirmation and tracking progress against key deadlines and metrics including FOB Target vs. Actual FOB, FOB on time, automation savings with the factory, dimension, and/or across Partner Management Office (PMO). Leverlage best practices as well as knowleged of internal and external business issues to solve complex proplems while considering new perspecitves on existing soluitons. You are selfmotivated and able to work independently while being a resource for less experiences colleagues, drawing on conceptual and practical experience. You are able to quickly understand an issue, assess the requirements and identify solutions to non-standard requests. This will often include the need to explain difficult issues and works to build consensus, while making all decisions within costing guidelines and policies. You will be accountable for small projects and programs with manageable risks and resource requirements and required to monitor and controls costs for these projects.

Effectively communicates pertinent costing model information to the dimension and costing organization. FOB confirmation and tracking progress against key deadlines and metrics: FOB Target vs. Actual FOB, FOB on time, automation savings with the factory, dimension, and/or across PMO.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in finance, costing, lean, accounting, manufacturing, production, engineering, or footwear product creation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to optimally identify, communicate, and influence technical matters, issues, risks, and opportunities to all stakeholders.
Proven ability to communicate complex and ambiguous topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
Strong enthusiasm and passion for the NIKE brand!
The ability to manage and prioritize multiple task and deliver against deadlines.
