The annual base salary for this position ranges from $195,400.00 in our lowest geographic market to $462,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

The Consumer & Identity Engineering team builds and operate sets of consumer and service authentication, authorization, identity, and compliance capabilities that secure and honor consumer privacy in all Nike digital experiences at scale.This engineering organization is responsible for all Member experiences like Login & Registration, Consumer Lifecycle Management, Consent & Permissions, Authorization & Authentication plus other identity and authentication services for the enterprise. All solutions and services are built keeping consumer Privacy, Security and Identity in mind while building highly scalable solutions which cater to our most committed consumer who partake in our Launch experience. Ensure the systems can scale up and down depending on the events, and requirements of the day.Who we are looking forWe are looking for an expert thoughtful leader to guide, mentor, and empower engineering managers, senior individual contributors, and engineers, across client and server teams whose integrated software services a global audience 24/7.This expert will need to enable the teams to build Global solutions in Partnership with our Global and Geo, Compliance & Legal, Risk & Governance, Security teams towards building solutions which are compliant for CPRA, GDPR, etc.What you will work on-Manage the teams which builds and operate sets of consumer and service authentication, authorization, identity, and compliance capabilities that secure and honor consumer privacy.-Manage the teams which builds and operate services & SDKs providing Authentication and Authorization solutions for Nike from a security perspective substantiating consumer privacy.-Help the teams build reliable, scalable and performant solutions. Encourage and empower your engineers and managers to design and build high-quality software.-Ensure that you and your teams partner closely with your Product and Design counterparts to craft scalable and beautiful consumer membership experiences.-Bring a passion to stay on top of tech and industry trends in IAM, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor members of the engineering community-You will also be responsible for building consumer experiences along with certification and adherence to security and architectural standards.-Work with senior leaders to inform and translate strategic goals into quarterly and annual engineering roadmaps that can be driven and adjusted through iterative development and feedback.-Listen to and mentor your managers to build self-guided, balanced, and productive teams.-Responsible for people management of a team, providing performance reviews, continual feedback, coaching and career growth for direct reports.-Build and lead a high-performing team, including mentoring and developing managers of managers.-Ask thoughtful questions that draw on the depth of your experience and ensure all perspectives are considered.-Take ownership of raising the technology stability and availability of the existing authentication systems and infrastructure-Hire the best candidates from across the software industry to bring new insights and drive efficiency, quality, and knowledge improvement for your teams.-Define operating metrics and team goals and manage the organization to meet them.-Ensure Privacy projects are delivered with high quality and timeliness, design and develop scalable solutions that meet the goals and objectives of our Privacy operations while streamlining and scaling the process - optimization is key.-Understand product roadmaps and key strategic priorities so your team can continually refine company policies as they relate to the Security Posture while taking into consideration rapid innovation needs.What you bring-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience and training.-5+ years of engineering management experience, including having managers and managers of managers reporting into you.-10+ years of engineering development experience with a sound understanding of internet architecture and distributed, highly scalable system and software design.-Possess a strong background and understanding of Identity and access management.-Worked closely with Product and Design leaders.-Experience building highly scalable Consumer Services and APIs and SDK.-Experience with legal and compliance implications towards Consumer Privacy.-Understanding of industry best practices and working knowledge of industry standards (e.g., NIST, OWASP, ITIL)-Experience building Identity and Access Management platforms leveraging Identity standards (OAuth, OIDC, etc.) and principles-Experience working with Legal and Privacy teams to drive roadmaps of existing engineering products.-Experience working in a highly matrixed organization, be self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments-Experience building Fraud detection capabilities using MFA, Device Detection and other core identity solutions.-Driven alignment across initiatives as part of the engineering leadership team.-Effectively hired, mentored, retained and grown engineering leaders.-Built new teams, defined their purpose, helped them create goals and led them to implement successfully.-Defined, built, and maintained global platforms and end-to-end digital consumer-facing experiences.-Experience working on business-critical consumer-facing systems-retail and / or high traffic authentication systems experience helpful.-Experience with multi-region AWS a plus.
