Nike is looking for a Senior Director of Integrated Media who is responsible for leading and driving the EMEA Integrated Media Team, responsible for all paid media investments across the region. Based at EHQ you will be responsible for the media strategy, investments, execution, results and team leadership & coaching of the EMEA Integrated Media Team. This role reports to the VP of EMEA Marketing and sits on both the Marketing and Nike Direct Digital Leadership teams.
This role directly manages three critical aspects within Integrated Media:
The Brand Media, by bringing to life our key seasonal Nike Stories in an impactful way outside the Nike eco-system driving inspiration and brand strength while strengthening the connection to consumers and driving product heat.
The Performance Media which includes all forms of biddable media across Search, Social, Affiliates networks and Programmatic channels. This role will also be a primary connection into the Nike Digital leadership and is responsible for all external traffic/revenue driving programs to our integrated Nike platforms.
Cultivate and manage relationships with external media partners, agencies, and vendors. Negotiate media buying terms, supervise campaign performance, and ensure the best possible return on investment.
This role works in close partnership with key functional teams: Nike Marketing Leadership team, Nike Direct Digital Leadership team, Global Media, Consumer Insights (Analytics), Procurement and Finance
Key Job Accountabilities
Develop & implement a regional and market led omni channel and media plans. Lead the Implementation of a comprehensive media strategies that align with Nike brand identity and business goals. Leverage industry insights, market trends, and customer behavior data to drive media planning and optimization.
Own and drive a robust budget and financial planning process. Support both, annual targets as well long-term objectives, thereby capitalizing on the investments made. Responsible for the allocation and management of media budgets. Monitors spend, analyze cost efficiency, and provide regular reports on campaign performance and return on investment.
Develop strong team relationships within the EMEA Marketing, Nike Retail and Online Leadership teams as well as Global media teams.
Bring Media best practices, learnings, and innovation into the Marketing Organization.
Ensure team partners tightly with Analytics teams to turn data into actionable insights. Apply data analytics to assess the effectiveness of media campaigns, track critical metrics, and identify areas for improvement. Make informed decisions based on data insights to continuously refine strategies.
Team Leadership: Build a team culture that celebrate Nike's value and mission. Lead and mentor a team of media experts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance, set clear objectives ensuring team's alignment with overarching marketing objectives. Coach every team member on their individual professional development journey and ensure they do the same for their teams.
Be a catalyst for media innovation, advanced measurement, and insights for the organization. Primary liaison team to our MarTech/AdTech initiatives.
Brand Consistency: Uphold the Nike brand identity and messaging across all media channels, ensuring a consistent and compelling customer experience
Manage agency relationship with a focus of driving media effectiveness and operational efficiencies.
Business lead for Media Attribution and Media Mix Modelling developments for EMEA in close partnership with the geo and global Consumer Insights team.
Requirements
15 years of marketing experience, with substantial experience in EMEA paid media and a strong understanding of digital marketing in an e-commerce and omni-channel setting
Previous experience on owning significant media budgets ($300M+) with associated traffic/revenue driving requirements
Comes with a digital first attitude with 10+ years working across biddable channels
At least 8 years management experience, confirmed experience coaching and developing a team, preferably in a multi-cultural environment
Ability to define and articulate goals and objectives that map to larger critical initiatives
Strong analytical experience including attribution and/or other media modeling work experience.
Experience to run partnerships with media agencies and major media partners such as Google, Meta, TikTok and affiliates networks.
Experience in media buying agency or running digital media for an ecommerce business.
Experience leading performance with a variety of digital channels, including: Paid Social, Display, SEO/SEM, Streaming Video, YouTube, Influencers, and/or Affiliates programs.
Experience in working alongside groundbreaking problem solvers and operators in the retail/consumer goods space.
Excellent matrix leadership skills, preferably experience in partners management, cross functional collaboration and working in complex multi-market environment
Experience getting results and innovation from large agency & media partner teams.
