Job description:
As a Senior Financial Analyst for MasterCraft Boat, you will:
• Develop business cases for new products by understanding material, labor, tooling, and capital requirements including the development of revenue and margin estimates used to derive project ROI and NPV.
• Work with a complex bill of material to understand and cost a product.
• Provide support to operations and product development to understand and communicate new technology/process/material cost impacts.
• Support current product cost improvement activities and identify areas of opportunity.
• Manage the costing/pricing process to achieve the most accurate price possible from initial plan to price confirmation anticipate problems, offer solutions, and address issues within the process.
• Work with finance leadership and factory staff to validate, understand, and communicate monthly manufacturing variances.
• Support Purchasing price negotiations as required through make/buy and target setting exercises
• Actively contribute to departmental initiatives/process improvements to enhance the overall department's effectiveness
• Support annual standard costs budgeting/forecast process and ongoing updates.
• Interpret customer needs, assesses requirements, and identify solutions to ad hoc requests.

Qualifications:
• BS in Finance required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2-5 years related work experience desired (product costing, BOMs, make vs. buy analysis, NPV, IRR, business cases)
• Record of high academic achievement preferred.
• High level of proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling.
• Comfortable communicating and presenting to all levels of management.
• Self-motivated and a self-starter continuously looking for process improvements.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
