The annual base salary for this position ranges from $88,800.00 in our lowest geographic market to $199,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will join a team of engineers responsible for designing solutions that optimizes our Distribution Network in North America Supply Chain!
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will perform various engineering consulting functions such as analyzing our operations end to end to address various constraints/bottlenecks and non-value added tasks for process/productivity improvements. A requirement for this position is a demonstrated ability to lead problem-solving and root cause analysis efforts to improve operational sequencing, workflow, and MHE design using standard industry methods.
We will rely on you for developing and maintaining a close relationship with partners in all functional areas within the NASC team. In addition, you will partner to consult and train operations personnel on changes introduced through engineering initiatives. You will be responsible for getting results in cross functional groups, including internal and external resources, across a broad range of projects in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Lastly, in this role you will design and drive continuous improvement projects for the transformation of the North America Supply Chain that supports long term Nike Inc goals such as Digital First Supply Chain at Scale.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role, you will be part of the North America Supply Chain Engineering team, reporting to the Engineering Manager of the Regional Servce Centers. You will work multi-functionally with, Operations, Planning, Tech, Maintenance, Facilities, Node Capabilities, Nike Logistics System, Business Integration, and Project Management Teams.
*Open to work location in facility at Foothill Ranch, CA or Ontario, CA
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelors Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
Minimum of 5years of experience in engineering consulting, capital projects, program management, engineering consulting, MHE design, process design, innovation/automation, lean methodology, or related activities.
Minimum of 3 years of System Design, Operational Excellence, Industrial Controls, Automation or Systems Engineering experience within a high-volume manufacturing, transportation, or distribution environment.
Experience with Industrial Facility Design
Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment and contribute to successful execution of goals.
Effective project and vendor management experience
Experience with robot or sortation equipment integration
Skilled in process design based on Lean Principles.
Ability to review/validate analytical data and determine the best course of action.
Experience with simulation software preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with WMS
Experience with Solidworks and AutoCAD preferred
