WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Nike seeks two Senior Layout Design Managers, who will take care of the consumer and service journey and fixture layout for EMEA's new stores. This role is key to bringing Art and science together by making sure business needs and forecasts are met and aligned with the concepts of store design and layouts principles.
The role requires a creatively minded project manager that can handle personal projects and lead all aspects of multiple projects owned by the teams at the same time.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
We require the Senior Layout & Fixture Design Manager to be accountable for concept development from Global to EMEA. This involves setting an EMEA strategy for zoning/fixture planning, and consumer journey including services and experience. All fixture development and working with procurement to finalize the costing.
You will have experience in vendor management, comfortable working within budgets and timelines. You will be able to adapt to various partners and be comfortable managing expectations and phenomenal communicator with internal and external partners. We expect you to drive the strategy for the concept making sure it can move to a roll-out model but not being scared to push the creative where needed.
You shift from owning key projects, and sophisticated layers of layouts of stores to managing the highly detailed mapping of the consumer journey: services and experience. While also reviewing a volume of your teams or agency's work. Reviewing AutoCAD/store layouts and approving its following guidelines and step in if you need to think of creative solutions when needed.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You and your team will have a positive relationship with store design as well as story design and project management. Close connections with Nike Direct business, merchandising, operations, and construction teams are crucial. Also connecting with visual merchandising, store experience, and Retail brands in EMEA as well as Global.
You will also be working very closely with our appointed design agencies as well as our vendors on design briefing, prioritizing prototype review, and doing the final install sign-off.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE:
At least 7+ years experience in store design or architectural firm, interior design, or management position at store planning/architecture for luxury brands.
5+ years of management experience in Retail design and/or Visual Merchandising.
Dynamic deck creation and presentation for business and design leaders skills vital.
Ability to own projects and drive direction on key/high-profile projects.
Lead the store opening process to achieve the target opening date, including timely confirming the store layout plan, placing fixture orders, and satisfying all relevant store quality demands.
Knowledge of fixture design, and experience in onsite fit-out approvals with vendors.
Understanding of materials and good sustainability focus is needed.
Outstanding time and cost management and previous experience with Vendor management
AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp skills are crucial, as well as in the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (e.g. Access and Excel).
Willingness to travel 5-15% of the time.
