Where You Will Be Located - Denver, Colorado
How You Will Make a Difference:
The primary responsibility of the Sr. Manager Global Merchandising planning is to lead in building the global/regional financial product target and framework that support the global product merchandising strategy, monitoring the product planning across Globe and all Regions. He/she will work closely and collaboratively with Global Product leaders, Category Planning, Supply Chain, Regional planning teams, GTM and Finance departments in creating the strategy and the executional plan to achieve brand strategic, financial, and distribution products goals.
PRODUCT
Lead the Global Merchandising Planning Apparel team in developing analytical framework used to inform strategically merchandising strategies, providing qualitative and quantitative analysis on business and product performance, globally and regionally.
Provide overall SKU count guidance to using analysis of historical trend and market opportunities.
Build bottoms-up plans by product classification and channel to align with financial plan based on Global category insights, regional sell-in and sell-thru data, historical trend, and seasonal initiatives.
Report on SKU count and conduct SKU rationalization exercises using ABC analysis or other quantitative analysis
Conduct global analysis of essential product KPIs with visibility to long-term risk and opportunity and in the context of Brand and Market strategies.
OPERATIONS
Responsible for the global and regional merchandising plan that connects sales and product strategies to Ops/Supply Chain and finance
Lead the development of planning calendar to align merchandising, finance, sales, RD&D, and operations milestones/deliverables
Partner with counterparts in Global product planning and Regions to develop global and regional merchandising plan
Lead new initiatives to enhance planning engagement and service to overall business process
Ownership of merchandising planning tools aim to plan and track the seasonal assortments and to provide support to all business stakeholders.
Establish accountability and clarify decision rights between multiple groups of stakeholders both within and outside of the planning organization
FINANCIALS/REPORTING
Partner with Global category team to track progress against target, to achieve global and regional revenue & productivity goals through collaboration with finance, sales, and operations,
Ensure Global and regional product merchandising plans by channel and category align with financial and brand strategies
Partner with Demand Planning, ensuring forecasts are connected to financial and strategic focuses
Roll up and report global and regional forecast figures, conducting and reporting out analysis
A key part of this role will also be in data management and building reports in either excel or tableau
What You Bring
6+ years of professional experience in merchandise planning, forecasting, or buying
4+ years of experience in fashion industry
Experience and proven ability in leading a team of direct reports
Proven ability to work with and lead a cross functional team
Educational/Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
Computer/Software Applications: Microsoft Office Suite – very strong Excel required.
Tableau and BI reporting tools expertise
Experience product forecasting, statistical modeling and/or strategic planning
Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate analysis to broad audience
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong business acumen – can address challenges to guide practical and meaningful change in the business
High process orientation – can identify opportunities and transform ways of working across groups
Ability to work some flexible hours because of varying time zones and regions
Ability to work with others as part of cross-functional team, build consensus, and achieve results across a variety of distinct groups.

Pay Range:
$108,864.00 USD - $163,296.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential:
This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
