As a member of the Materials team, the Senior Trims Developer works closely with the Materials Managers to help support departmental initiatives.  Primary responsibilities include, providing a high level of service to a specified category(s) to ensure the successful development of innovative and functional trims on a seasonal basis and driving processes that create efficiencies for the Materials department.

Position: Senior Trims Developer

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:
Provide technical expertise to RD&D and develop new and innovative trims for the brand.
Ensure the timely execution of seasonal developments.  Anticipate problems and facilitate solutions that minimize sample and production delays.
Support the execution of departmental objectives and initiatives.
Ensure all QA Testing Lab requirements are met to facilitate the timely testing of trims.
Ensure the Product Line Management (PLM) database is consistently updated and accurate.
Work with the Business Management team to support company sourcing strategies and supply chain initiatives.
Collaborate and support satellite offices for strategic initiatives and process improvements.
Execute projects that support departmental objectives
Mentor and guide Trim Developers and Coordinators as necessary to complete seasonal goals.

Skills for Success
Years of related professional experience: 5 years
Educational position requirements: BA or BS degree in Textiles, Textile Engineering, Textile Manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience.

What we expect you already know:
Understanding of product design and development process from inception through production.
Strong organizational skills. Ability to access information accurately and readily when needed.
Able to make effective decisions through analysis, experience and understands when to defer to manager as situation warrants. 
Skilled communicator: ability to communicate and interface with multiple groups and individuals.  Does so in a timely manner, when required.
Delivers a consistent effort with a positive outlook.
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively with a diverse group of people.
Team player - ability to work effectively with multiple teams.
Adaptable.
Proficient PC skills and MS Office programs. Working knowledge of database systems (e.g. PLM) is a plus.

Pay Range:
$88,128.00 USD - $132,192.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential:
This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
