Let’s Talk about the Role

As Senior Product Merchandiser you will play a vital and strategic role in aligning merchandising strategies with brand objectives, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams, and driving overall brand growth. You will further optimize assortments and adopt an omnichannel approach. You will research and analyse the markets, stay updated on current and future trends, product needs and performance. You will report into the Global Product & Merchandising Director.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:
!
Driving best in class profitable assortments together with the Merchandising team, driven by marketplace reality and business opportunities.

!
Drive one assortment to fulfil global needs while considering local nuances and opportunities. Establish a clear understanding of regional markets and channels and tailor merchandising strategies to capitalize on specific growth opportunities in different regions.

!
Embrace an omnichannel approach and create assortments that are well-suited for digital and DTC channels.

!
Capture and provide insights on what is selling in each channel and category, regularly downloading the business performance and providing corresponding actions to the wider teams.

!
Owning a complete understanding of consumer trends and providing markets/competition insights including their pricing strategies to drive relevant assortments.

!
Building and maintaining the seasonal line plans for the different segmentation and collection levels while ensuring line efficiency by conducting in depth productivity analyses (SKU level) to fulfil business targets and anticipate trends.

!
Contributing to the line development and collaborating with the Design & Development team, providing collection briefings that align with the seasonal direction.

!
Accountable for updating and accuracy at all time of the different systems (Grid, line lists, Analyses)

!
Drive the seasonal sales reps sample order and follow up on the process.

!
Presenting the merchandising highlights and seasonal direction to the sales force during various steps of the go-to-market process (GTM process meetings), in coordination with the wider product team and marketing.

!
Fostering close collaboration with Planning on seasonal investment and partnering with Digital/Marketing to leverage the right seasonal content in their tools.

!
Drive the implementation of the merchandising strategies and brand objectives.

Skills for Success
!
3+ years’ experience in Merchandising, Product Management, Merchandising planning ideally in global brand organizations

!
Analytical with strong product affinity

!
Being a true team player that champions new way of workings

!
Strong Excel skills with a detail orientation and thoroughness attitude.

!
Demonstrates flexibility and initiative in tackling challenges and finding innovative solutions.

!
Strong communication skills – includes presentation, influencing and negotiation skills

!
Fluent English, both written and spoken

!
Has a passion for the product and is consumer-obsessed
