Who we are looking for
In this role, were looking for someone who will ensure that NIKE meets our obligations from a product/service standpoint with our partners across the WNBA/& G-League. More specifically, well look for you to provide the best service in the industry and work across the NIKE Basketball product matrix to deliver superior apparel, service experiences, and relationships with our key partners. Well have you support product compliance while improving the return on product investment for outside partners and NIKE. You and your teammates are representing Sports Marketing within NIKEs internal NBA product org including, but not limited to, Gameday operations, delivery orchestration, financial backend framework, and all other necessary framework logistics that accompany the new partnership.
If this is you, you will be fully immersed in the apparel engine to: understand key styles & strategies, product initiatives and moments connected to Brand stories, and ensure all teams are bought into the Nike System of Performance & key initiatives. You will use your relationships with, both the League office and Teams, to drive Nike apparel strategy. Within your daily obligations, youll work collaboratively with the Field Rep & Account Managers to ensure that PREMIUM SERVICE is delivered, communications are thorough, and key relationships are fostered.
You will work with a variety of internal and external partners, including but not limited to: WNBA & GL Equipment Managers, team executives, players, league office officials, NIKE Apparel Product Line Managers, Designers, and Developers. Youll also report to the Director of NBA/WNBA Ops SM and work alongside NIKEs WNBA Field Rep and Account Specialist, to collaborate on one unified approach to service for the broader NBA partnership.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field, advanced degree preferred
5+ years expertise with driving footwear & apparel initiatives through a team, to a strategic on court/on field presence
3+ years successful experience in Sports Marketing building and using key relationships to drive Nike strategies. Demonstrated ability conceive/create new ideas about innovated sports marketing working relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations, including PowerPoint presentations, Excel and MS Office experience
Ability to travel 25% of the time
