As the Senior Project Manager of Warehouse Management System Implementation (Short Term, 6 Months) contributes to REI’s success by managing all aspects of the medium to large scale cross-functional project so that it is completed on time, within scope and budget. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring all project phases are completed and communicating to key stakeholders the progress and performance against the project plan. They can resolve operational problems through collaboration with the project team to minimize delays. In addition, they can work independently, and serve as a resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience, while modeling and acting by REI’s guiding values and mission.
In this role, you will:
! Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close medium to large cross-divisional, multi-year projects related to REI’s integrated value chain systems and processes.
! Act as the primary liaison between integrated value chain operations and IT teams to define requirements for new and revised systems from development to production release.
! Ensure project schedule alignment between key cross-divisional operational tasks and IT system integration and that the schedule is delivered against the desired business timeframe.
! Manages the progress of the project and regularly communicates the project status to management and stakeholders.
! Could provide project management documentation and reporting at appropriate project stages, including project charter, project plans, project logs, status reports, and lessons learned documentation?
! Ensure continual alignment between key cross-divisional stakeholders.
! Provide process insight and guidance to integrated value chain leaders on key business initiatives.
! Provide thought leadership to cross-divisional partners regarding project direction and planning.
! Liaise with cross-functional divisions and internal departments to drive process improvements within projects.
! Collaborates with cross-functional partners and leadership to ensure proactive, continued engagement and understanding of key deliverables.
! Serve as a resource and mentor to peers and other project managers; continue to educate best practices of project management methodologies to peers, co-workers, and leaders.
Bring your passion and expertise
! 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager, concurrently managing multiple small to large cross-divisional projects in a fast-paced environment
! Advanced knowledge of project management methodology Advanced knowledge of supply chain functions, information technology systems, and implementation process
! Advanced Problem-solving skills: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
! Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple assignments
! Advanced verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational and time management skills
Preferred qualifications:
! Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
! Experience with warehouse/distribution operations and supply chain business processes
! Experience working with a warehouse management system (WMS)

The pay for this role is: $83700 - $134000 per year .
