Billabong is looking for a Road Merchandiser to join the team in Hampton Roads, VA / the Virginia Beach area.
Position Summary:
Billabong has a current opening for a Visual Road Merchandiser in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Territory:
Will include MD, DE, W.VA, VA, NC, SC, and TN. However, some of these states won’t need to be visited (W.VA, TN, and limited seasonal travel to MD & DE). The heaviest concentration will be in Hampton Roads VA, which includes VA Beach the nucleus of the territory. It’s very important that the person be located in the VA Beach area to adequately service this zone. It will also entail some travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic
Role Responsibilities:
• Merchandise in-store fixtures and sections to maximize the assortment and visual presentation while upholding company standards
• Display and rework product so merchandise looks fresh and new
• Assist in updating visuals / graphics
Minimum Requirements:
• 2 – 3 years of hands on experience merchandising product and working with in-store fixtures
• Independent and self-motivated
• Strong time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong fashion and styling sense
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to accept critique / feedback
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple store locations
