We are the Enterprise Service Technology team at Nike and we provide cutting-edge service management platforms and solutions that enable Nike businesses to run their operations efficiently.
We use ServiceNow as our Enterprise Service Management platform. ServiceNow is s SaaS platform; "born-in-the-cloud". It is recognized as a cloud-software SUPERPOWER in the industry. Founded in 2003, ServiceNow began as an IT Service Management platform, but then ventured into others areas such as IT Operations, Human Resources, Customer Service, Finance, Governance-Risk-Compliance to become what industry experts would call the ENTERPRISE SOFTWARE of 21st century and THE platform for digital business.
ServiceNow enables our departments to digitize and automate business processes. It offers an intuitive, omni-channel user experience with service portals, mobile interface and apps, and chat. ServiceNow offers AI/ML capabilities with Virtual Agent for automated and prompt user interaction and Predictive Intelligence for cluster and regression analysis. ServiceNow offers rich analytics with trends and breakdowns. We also recognize that an effective and efficient digital ecosystem is made up of best-in-breed applications and ServiceNow supports APIs that enable workflows across platforms.
ServiceNow is used at Nike for varied use cases - our Retail Store Athletes use the ServiceNow mobile app to request support on PoS systems promptly; our HR team uses ServiceNow as a medium for employees to seek HR cases support; our Technology Operations teams uses ServiceNow to manage incidents, fulfil requests using a service catalog, manage changes and host user facing knowledge articles as well as technical knowledge articles, they also use Performance Analytics to track Key Performance Indicators; our Retail Partners team has setup a portal using ServiceNow for retail partners to seek technical support - the list goes on.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for graduates who are passionate about automation, business process simplification by learning and working on Industry leading platforms and tools such as ServiceNow, that help drive efficiency in business processes and services within organizations and across organizations. We are looking for passionate minds who would like to ride the wave of digital disruption with the ServiceNow platform at Nike. We are looking for candidates who would like to build digital platforms that enable multi-channel and automated user interaction as well as interaction with other platforms.
The candidate needs to have sound knowledge on software development fundamentals and possess interpersonal skills to collaborate with product managers and team members.
This role does configuration, development, administration and operational support tasks for all aspects of the ServiceNow platform including standard configuration, security, data management, reporting, integrations with third party applications and environment management while ensuring that data integrity, platform health and best practices are maintained
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll be working with product managers to deliver technical solutions via Scrum methodology that solve problems while supporting the long-term health of the ServiceNow platform.
You will develop solutions using ServiceNow functionalities :-
* Design intuitive forms using Form Designer, UI policies • Build server-side and client-side scripting using JavaScript
* Set up Access Control Lists
* Use Flow Designer to build workflows
* Set up notifications
* Design Service Portals using Bootstrap & AngularJS
* Configure Chat
* Setup analytics and reporting
* Integrate with other platforms using APIs
* Author technical knowledge articles
* Participate in Scrum cadences - DevOps backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups
You will maintain the platform integrity, security and performance :-
* Apply patches and system upgrades on scheduled basis
* Troubleshoot and remediate functionality related incidents
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role, you will be reporting to the ESM Engineering Manager based out of Nike India Technology Center, Bengaluru. You will be gaining mentorship under experienced ServiceNow Engineers and discover best practices of application development on ServiceNow and build your proficiency on ServiceNow.
You will be part of a Scrum team and collaborate with :-
* Scrum Master on sprint planning and stories progress
* Product Owners on requirements
* ServiceNow Engineers on solution options and best practices
* Test Engineers on test cases and testing
* ESM Leads on innovation and automation within ESM
