Paragon Sports, New York City's finest sports specialty store, located in Union Square since 1908, is currently looking for an experienced Ski Mechanic Supervisor.
Our mission is to provide a unique shopping experience, every time for every customer by setting the standard in customer service and quality product. We strive to accomplish this goal by having the largest assortment of sports related equipment and fashion in the city and by staffing our store with exceptionally trained, expert associates to assess each customer’s needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE
:
• Supervise the Ski Shop and the mechanics
• Properly and safely prepare junior seasonal leases and adult trip rentals
• tune and repair skis and snowboards
• Mounting ski and snowboard bindings
• Occasionally assisting with the sale of these items.
• Experience with boot modifications and custom foot bed building, integration and installation a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 2 years ski technician experience- tuning, mounting and repair
• working knowledge of products and tools of the trade
• weekend/evening availability a must
• exceptional customer service skills
• strong communication skills
