We’re looking for a Social & Content Manager to join our growing marketing team — someone who’s equal parts content creator, trend watcher, and brand storyteller. This role will lead the day-to-day strategy and execution of our social channels, driving growth through original, on-brand content that connects with our community. You’ll conceptualize, capture, edit, and post content while keeping a sharp pulse on trends, analytics, and new ways to bring the Marsh Wear story to life.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and execution of Marsh Wear’s organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
- Capture, edit, and publish authentic photo and video content — both on your iPhone and with professional camera gear (bonus points if you’re skilled with both).
- Identify and activate social trends, sounds, and cultural moments that align with the Marsh Wear brand.
- Collaborate with our creative and digital teams to plan content around product launches, events, and brand campaigns.
- Write captions, schedule posts, and maintain an organized content calendar that supports campaign timelines.
- Use insights and analytics to track performance and optimize future content.
- Engage with our online community daily — responding to comments, DMs, and engaging with ambassadors, partners, and customers.
- Occasionally appear on camera for reels, behind-the-scenes moments, or lifestyle content.
- Support photoshoots, events, and brand activations with on-site coverage and real-time content capture.
Who You Are
- A creative self-starter who understands how to build community through storytelling.
- Highly skilled in short-form video and photography, with a keen sense for pacing, tone, and storytelling.
- Confident shooting and editing content with an iPhone — and bonus points if you’re experienced with DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, content trends, and algorithms — especially Instagram and TikTok.
- Comfortable analyzing metrics and making data-driven decisions to grow engagement.
- A strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about the outdoors — whether you’re fly fishing, surfing, camping, or just chasing golden hour.
Bonus Points If You
- Have 2–4 years of experience managing or creating content for lifestyle, outdoor, or apparel brands.
- Have a portfolio, reels, or TikTok samples that show your creative eye and voice.
- Are familiar with tools like Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, or basic paid social metrics.
- Have experience managing influencer or ambassador partnerships.
