Richer Poorer is in search of a Community Manager to join the team.
Richer Poorer, a Southern California lifestyle brand, is looking for a uniquely creative individual who is ready to jump in and help us create an engaging community, including oversight of all social media channels, influencer engagement, affiliate marketing and press relations. This position is a critical role that weaves multiple owned and earned media channels together to craft a consistent storyline and brand image together across the calendar year and multiple brand touchpoints.
As the Community Manager you’ll be responsible for creating social media content with a focus on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Tik Tok, as well as new emerging social channels. You’ll work closely with the Digital, Marketing and Creative teams to ensure that all content meets brand and performance requirements.
This position requires a high degree of initiative, very strong organizational skills, a creative mindset, effective communication (both verbal and written), an ability to efficiently prioritize and manage complex processes, enthusiastic can-do attitude, and a desire to learn new skills as needed. Additionally, you’ll need to have strong photography, writing and creative skills in order to be successful in the role.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, develop and execute innovative and creative media content across social media platforms in line with brand and long term goals
• Accelerate rapid growth of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Tik Tok
• Create a unique strategy and manage an authentic influencer / ambassador network and key strategic partners
• Manage press strategy and execution, including oversight of press agencies
• Develop and manage affiliate marketing program
• Manage reporting and analysis of key engagement metrics for all social platforms (as well as other platforms required for the role)
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to support monthly promotional calendar
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, especially in contemporary fashion and digitally native brands
• Maintain and track all social media, influencer, affiliate and press platforms to ensure maximum visibility and increase brand recognition
• Additional duties as assigned
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism or related field.
• Passion for and 2-3 years experience in social media
• Strong design aesthetic — photography, graphic design, Photoshop (or similar skills preferred.
• Strategic thinker, detail-oriented, and motivated.
• Time management skills; eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
