What will you work on?
Nikes Creative Production platform empowers creative professionals in our Marketing teams to tell the story of our products. We use the latest technology and cloud services to automate the production of the images and video for nike.com. You will team with product managers and principal engineers to ensure that new features are built properly. Your success will most often be found in working collaboratively in your own team and in Nike's larger Global Technology organization. You will build a reputation of mentoring each software engineer that you lead and building a high-performing team.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems, or similar field or relevant professional experience, education, and training.
5+ years of experience in full-stack development (backend and frontend) of delivered products and 2+ years as a manager or tech lead
Experience with integration of large systems and custom products
Experience delivering sophisticated software in an agile development environment on-time and on-budget
Proactive decision-maker with excellent communication and written skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with e-commerce software solutions and marketing technology
Experience with creative production, workflow and digital asset management software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Atellio, Frame.io, Nuxeo, ProofHQ, Alfresco, CreativeForce.io, Adobe Workfront)
Experience with AWS services like EC2, Lambda, and S3
Responsibilities
Lead a team of engineers who are committed to improvement and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver the software technology that enables media production (images and video)

Identify and validate opportunities for improvement and obstacle removal through communication, collaboration, documentation, process, and automation
Participate in designing technical solutions for the long-term, balancing time-to-market versus the health of the platform
Collaborate with fellow managers to establish our organizational culture and professional development paths
Champion quality, security, resiliency and other standard processes at the product and team levels
Stay up to date with Nike technology initiatives, industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard methodologies related to cloud computing and media production, share the knowledge, and make recommendations to the team and leadership
Establish and implement hiring plans to adapt to meet the challenges of growth
Work with the Director of Software Development and be part of the larger Nike Marketing Technology organization
