Job Title:
Specialist II, Social Platforms and Marketing, Consumer Direct Marketing
Overview of the Job:
As part of the social platforms and marketing team (social team) in consumer direct marketing function (CDM), your overall role and responsibility is to take lead and work with the bigger team to plan and execute social media marketing plan in GC Nike marketing organization.
With strategic mindset, you will need to handle project planning and execution for Nike Performance Sports Dimension, including Fitness & Running with your team leader, and leading respective agency partners to deploy our strategy and execute project plans.
Key Working Partners:
All Consumer Direct Marketing functions
Nike mens and womens brand management team (Fitness & Running)
Key marketing functions (One Creative, Integrated Media, etc.)
Respective agency teams
Job Responsibility:
Social Strategy:
- Assist the team leader in supporting social platform strategy and marketing campaigns.
- Proactively gather insights and learnings from consumers, platforms, and industry best practices to continually optimize our current work and inform future strategies.
- Actively participate in driving social media marketing insights, contributing to the deployment and optimization of the GC Nike Social Strategy & Playbook.
Social Project Execution:
- Develop seasonal and 365 always on marketing plans within the social marketing function, aligning them with overall brand marketing objectives and KPIs.
- Collaborate with other marketing function and agency partners to drive the execution of marketing campaigns. This includes coordinating social content production (LRB, DY, WeChat) and assisting in the supervision of KOL/KOC content creators.
- Collaborate with the team leader to test and implement innovative approaches, keeping Nike at the forefront of social media marketing.
Experience Required:
Passionate sports fan and has sports industry insight (preferably Fitness & Running) that can turn to visionary social strategy and work outcome.
A Nike fan, familiar with Nike products (especially shoes, bras and leggings) that can help to establish content insight.
Preferably with 2-3 years digital/social media marketing or related working experience
Bachelors degree and above
Functional Skill Required:
Strong insight of social platform, social content and KOL collaboration experience
Strong bilingual (Chinese & English) communication skill including writing and verbal.
Skilled of using Mac, Keynote, Outlook and Excel and other necessary software.
