Four Horsemen Sales is looking for a Burton Hardgoods and anon. optics sales rep to join the Salt Lake City-based team, servicing the Intermountain Territory.

Position Summary:
The Hardgoods Rep will develop, manage and service dealer accounts across Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana.

The Hardgoods rep’s ultimate responsibility is to drive and grow Burton Hardgoods, Rental, and anon. optics business. The rep will be solely in charge of and accountable for all sales for these brands/categories. The Hardgoods Rep will coordinate and conduct clinics, plan and execute retail events and educate Burton retailers on product and brand information.

The qualified candidate will be well versed in (or ready and willing to learn quickly) snowboard construction and technology. The ability to explain snowboard technology clearly is crucial to success in this role.

Role Responsibilities:
• Initiate and manage all pre-book and at once orders for retailers
• Educate and motivate dealer sales staff on hardgoods and optics category through, seasonal clinics, regular visits and regional events
• Maintain top level of customer service to retailers in assigned territory
• Service all accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule independently calling on both existing and potential dealers
• Address and manage dealer customer service issues
• Establish and implement best in class merchandising standards
• Conduct on-snow demos and/or promotional events
• Conduct other responsibilities as assigned and be flexible to assist the rest of the team as needed.

Qualifications / Experience Required:
• Proven history of growing sales in action sports industry or similar
• Prior shop, hardgood snowboard sales, and/or optics sales experience
• Experience managing/selling to large format, multi-location retailers
• Experience managing/selling to resorts and resort-based retailers
• Reliable transportation to travel to accounts within assigned territory
• Schedule flexibility. Ability to maintain very full work schedule in peak periods
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• College degree a plus

The ideal candidate will have 3 years+ of previous hardgoods sales experience. This position requires the ability to manage business across a wide array of retailers including large-format, multi-location retailers and core specialty retailers alike.
