WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

As part of our Pacific Sports Marketing team, the Manager of Sports Performance will execute the strategic plan for strengthening Nike’s position across the Performance Sports portfolios, implement a tiered services strategy and deliver dimension Leverage across the Business & Partners, reporting into the Director of Pacific Sports Marketing.

The role will cover a number of sports and may stretch into other dimensions such as Training, Dance and other non-traditional sports.

The candidate needs to bring relationship excellence, critical thinking and problem solving skills with an ability to operate in a complex environment, while driving clarity for the servicing and operations leads and cross-functional partners.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:

Your strategy will inform invest/divest decisions with the Pacific Sports Marketing Sports Performance Portfolio to ensure evolution of Nike Sports Marketing portfolio with the correct level of investment across multiple dimensions. This role is responsible for developing NIKE Pacific’s athlete portfolio strategy, including the successful scouting, signing, and servicing of both current and future athletes.

You will execute the strategic service vision for serving athletes in a more holistic approach that helps them reach their potential & strengthens NIKE’s relationships and you will align resources and capabilities to serve our assets in a premium way. Provide and deliver industry leading service to our NIKE Athletes, Federations and Governing Bodies, while working with our internal partners in the planning and execution of key product styles, launches, and product testing.

Create and execute tiered athlete journey plans for our contracted athlete partners that aligns with brand management, catalyst marketing, product, comms and any other key stakeholders identified. Align our athletes against Nike’s Purpose Offense, specifically around sustainability, community, diversity and equality.

Build and maintain key partnerships across NIKE’s business functions, as well as with key influencers within the region, including athletes, agents, coaches, federations and governing bodies.

Support the overall Pacific Sports Marketing offense, maximizing our contractual rights to strengthen our connection with the consumer and fuel the business growth.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:

You will report to the Dir. Pacific Sports Marketing and work closely with the Sr. Dir. APLA Sports Marketing. Additionally, you will work with Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing Servicing & Operations and Global Sports Apparel to ensure Sports Marketing efforts are in service of brand and business objectives.
