Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the sales management of select accounts within the Family Footwear Channel. The position requires the ability to forecast revenue and profit goals, and to drive product initiatives for all relevant DC categories.
Position based in:
Texas or Southern California
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for forecasting and achieving defined sales plans
• Utilize retailer provided data to generate actionable sales analysis
• Identify short and long term opportunities for growth
• Frequent communication with internal and external management
• Regular travel to accounts, trade shows, and sales meetings
• 50% + travel required Coordinate resources and marketing initiatives
• Maintain existing retailer relationships
• Lead preline meetings and foster efficient SMU processes
Required Experience:
• 5-7 years sales experience in the footwear industry.
• Established retailer relationships within the family channel and share the ability to develop category initiatives.
• Extensive knowledge of the action sports industry.
• Maintain high profile communication skills and must possess the ability to present clearly and effectively.
• Must be able to establish short and long term strategies for the family footwear channel that both mirror and lead the DC corporate direction.
