In collaboration with the Work Group President, they will develop strategic brand and growth initiatives that align with global brand positioning, imagery and voice, enhanced or adjusted for consumer targets. Own and foster relationship with HDMC to influence, develop and execute strategic initiatives to ensure growth through product innovation, distribution optimization and storytelling.
!
Create long- and short-term financial goals and targets.
!
Develop and maintain strong business relationship internally across brands and central services and externally with important partners (factories, suppliers, etc.)
!
Foster an environment of sharing and collaboration across business units.
!
Establish rhythm and methodology to measure, monitor and react to changing fiscal dynamics seasonally.
!
Develop, recruit, and retain key talent within the brand, drive innovation and creative design in product and compelling brand stories.
!
Demonstrate dynamic leadership through strong communication skills, setting and maintaining goals, exercising accountability, and leading from the front.
!
Performs duties consistent with the companys AAP/EEO goals and policies.
!
Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
!
Minimum of 10 years in footwear or apparel industry
!
Minimum of 3 years in managing, coaching, and developing employees and teams
!
Strong leader, communicator and analytical thinker with the ability to build relationships cross-functionally.
!
Solid business management and product management skills.
!
Strong understanding of the consumer, retail environment and competitive marketplace.
!
Knowledgeable regarding production, product development, marketing, finance, distribution and office management.
Working Conditions
Normal office environment. Some travel required.
Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in office and two days remote.
