We are seeking an individual, ideally with operations experience, to partner with the Distribution and Corporate Global Supply Chain leadership teams to support the business strategy. The HRBP will support the distribution network and corporate supply chain leadership team (s) in managing the talent strategy, succession planning & performance management, talent acquisition, training & organizational development, teammate relations, compensation, and benefits. The HRBP will liaise between corporate centers of excellence and business leadership, overseeing day-to-day DH operations and managing projects and initiatives across the DH network and corporate clients. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPartners with Distribution House and corporate business leaders to support a wide range of areas, including organization design and strategy, workforce planning, talent management & development, DEI, employee engagement, and retentionProvides on-site Human Resources partnership to the Rialto Distribution Operation and Floor Leadership team in applying and interpreting HR policies and California compliancePlays a vital role in the Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Operations teams to identify, plan and hire the right talent at the right time to meet business objectivesSupports multi-year projects and initiatives across all Distribution Centers to elevate the teammate experienceProvide coaching and counseling to business leaders on organizational management and team developmentPromote and establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a highly engaged team environment; drive the UA culture through all levels of the business unitWork closely with business unit leaders to assess in-house talent and create strategy to identify and retain current talent as well as attract outside talent to the business; prepare exit strategy for non-performersProactively seek knowledge of both industry and functional specialty researching best California practices, legal developments, emerging trends, technological advancements, and benchmark comparisons to create HR practices that are best in classManage a team of two Human Resources professionals and dotted line a teammate relations manager by supporting professional development, monitoring weekly duties, identifying projects, encouraging client group engagement, and ensuring efficient workflow through the HR podWill carry out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching; addressing complaints and resolving problemsEducation And / Or ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience required7+ years of experience in Human Resources or related experiencePrior direct experience managing and mentoring a team preferredPrior experience in a distribution or production facility preferredOther RequirementsLocation: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Rialto Distribution House in Rialto, CAReturn To Work Designation: Four (4) days a week in office, one day remoteTravel: Up to 10% domesticallyLicenses/Certifications: PHR or SPHR certification preferredRelocation & SalaryNo relocation providedBase salary range: $140,548.00 - $193,253.50 Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual’s relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
