Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support daily accounting operations with strong experience in accounts receivable/payable, factoring, inventory and operational accounting. Must have working experience. This role works closely with customer service, external CPA partners, and finance leadership to ensure accurate financial records and timely processing of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• • Perform inventory adjustments and provide oversight of physical inventory counts and related adjustments
  • Maintain and reconcile prepaid expenses, including tradeshow expenses
  • Assist with credit invoices, including miscellaneous credits and allowances
  • Prepare CPA cash receipt schedules, including reconciliation of cash deposits
  • Prepare month-end commission reports
  • Reconcile Factor chargebacks and follow up on disputes
  • Assist with invoicing and support customer service with invoice and credit requests
  • Work directly with factoring partners to resolve duplicate payments, past-due accounts, and disputes
  • Process and post miscellaneous deposits
  • Perform Amazon co-op calculations and cash posting for Amazon transactions
  • Assist with daily cash posting and reconciliation activities
  • Submit daily assignments to the factor, and maintain proper supporting documentation
  • Process and post accounts payable invoices

Qualifications

• • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable, cash reconciliation, and inventory accounting
  • Experience working with factoring companies and chargebacks preferred
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with customer service, operations, and external partners
