Urban Armor Gear is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst in Santa Ana, CA.
Reporting directly to the Senior Operations Manager, the Supply Chain Analyst will lead all activities associated with demand planning, procurement, and inventory management. Develop supply chain KPIs, design tactical plans to achieve the KPI’s and oversee execution of strategic sourcing initiatives. Minimize business interruptions and ensure continuity of supply. Measure and optimize supplier performance and service and maintain professional and effective relations with supplier community.Coordinate and lead cross-functional efforts to continually improve performance and deliver on sourcing and procurement KPIs.
Essential Job Functions:
• Demand planning – Lead cross-functional S&OP process in collaboration with sales and marketing and translate forecast feedback into inventory strategies. Maintain demand plan recommend purchase decisions based on target inventory levels, product velocity, and other demand variables.
• Purchasing – Identify the need for POs based on demand plan and lead times, initiating POs, and resolving variances. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through day-to-day interaction and performance management.
• Logistics – Manage inbound freight program to ensure inventory availability at lowest possible cost.
• Sourcing – Participate in the new product development process to ensure inventory availability at launch and through the initial ramp.
• Supply Chain Analytics – Develop informative and actionable key performance indicator round the supply chain function.
