The National Sales Director for Kids will be responsible for driving Retail Sales, creating brand strategy and development and execution of traditional and online marketing, advertising, branding, promotion, PR and strategic partnerships. The candidate will develop financial plans and strategies, manage members of the children’s division, give feedback on product, event execution and provide hands on presence as it relates to all aspects of the children’s business.

Responsibilities:
- Exceed Sales Plan.
- Establish and exceed Retail Sales Goal.
- Help to drive the sell in ordering and sell through of products, as well as, in-store presentation.
- Create consistent communication amongst US, International and Online Sales & Marketing.
- Oversee external marketing partnerships and internal brand marketing initiatives.
- Plan and direct all aspects of marketing and branding policies, objectives and initiatives.
- Provides marketing skills and expertise to TOMS by building, developing and managing a team capable of carrying out the necessary marketing strategies and tactics.
- Develops the annual marketing kids plan and strategies, as well as events.
- Ensure Sales and marketing plans are met and comply with the budget.
- Bring new creative marketing concepts and programs to the organization

Requirements:
- BA or BS degree with strong overall academic performance
- 7+ years of Sales & Marketing experience at a Director level.
- Responsible for planning projections, distribution strategy input, and budget preparation
- Ability to think analytically, strategically and be a key force in driving brand awareness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Global business knowledge with cross culture agility.
- Knowledgeable in current and future trends and technology with the ability to guide and direct people and business.
- Previous experience with multi-site, multi-state, multi-country, multi-function organizations.
- Experience in the footwear industry preferred.
- High degree of integrity with the ability to handle confidential and sometimes highly sensitive matters in the appropriate manner.
- Passionate leader and team player, willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
- Must have proven success in building a new business and team.
- Versatility, flexibility and enthusiasm – “no task is too small or too big” mentality
- Highly organized and a self starter attitude

Reports To: Senior Vice President of Sales & Retail Marketing

Compensation: Commensurate with Experience
