NHS is looking for a Digital Graphic Designer to create collateral across our online presence. This includes but is not limited to Websites, Social Media and Online Advertising partners. Additionally the candidate would assist the Web Department with User Interface and User Experience.
Position Type: Full Time, In House, Hourly Position near the beach in Santa Cruz, California
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
You will work alongside brand managers and art directors to create compelling online campaigns including:
● Banners / Splash pages
● Emails
● Microsites
You will keep nhsfunfactory.com up to date with all current product pushes and promotions including:
● Brand ‘panels’
● Site Wide banners
● Background imagery
You will work with Social Media coordinators assist with and create the following:
● Social Media collateral (icons, cover images, etc..)
● Contests/Voters
You will assist with Website UI/UX
● Create mockups for site redesigns/updates
● Work alongside programmers to create easy to use navigation and site flow
WHAT YOU NEED:
You must be able to meet fast paced deadlines, work well under pressure and in a team environment all while embracing the goals of the NHS Mission, Vision and Core Values statement. You should be familiar with web standards and relevant social media outlets.
Software and Language Skillset:
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, HTML, CSS
Bonus Points for additional knowledge (nice but not required):
Bootstrap, PHP / MySql, Javascript/ Jquery
