Job Description:

Vissla is looking for a T-shirt Artist / Graphic Designer. This person will be responsible for bringing fresh and innovative designs as well as relevant and volume-driving prints on a seasonal basis. You will be responsible for the conceptualization and creation of seasonal graphics for the global t-shirt category, as well as art, hand illustration and graphics that merchandise across all product categories.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating innovative, market leading t-shirt designs
• Will work with VP of Design to approve of all design details during creation and the development process
• Strong knowledge of the marketplace, competitor’s product and the needs of Vissla’s customer
• Current on graphic trends inside and outside of our immediate market
• Deliver seasonal product presentations to VP of Design
• Travel as needed, research appropriate markets, attend sales meetings
• Ensure all responsibilities and calendar deadlines are met

Requirements:

• At least 4 years experience in t-shirt art and design
• Must be creative, extremely detail oriented, and a highly motivated team player
• Must possess a detailed knowledge of screen-printing process, application and techniques
• Able to manage multiple projects to meet all deadlines
• Excellent presentation skills
• Advanced to Expert – Adobe Creative Suite
