Overview:

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of the customer service department including but not limited to: order file management and the maximization of out-bound shipments, EDI processing and vendor compliance,and department reporting.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the oversight and management of all customer service reps for e-commerce and wholesale accounts

• Responsible for managing the company’s order file on a monthly basis to ensure:
 All orders have been properly (and timely) input in the system (either by reps / accounts / CSRs) to maintain an accurate order file
 Maximize order file conversion on a monthly basis by maintaining detailed and order specific knowledge to ensure that the company is able to deliver in full and on time to its customers
 Requires constant and frequent communication with sales, production, distribution, logistics and accounts receivable teams to ensure maximum order file conversion


• Partner with Production to ensure on-time delivery of product to fulfill order file
• Responsible for all EDI accounts and ensuring that EDI orders are properly managed, resulting in an accurate monthly order file
• Distribute weekly reports for EDI accounts to ensure proper communication flow across allocations team, distribution center, internal/external sales reps and the customer
• Partner with Operations Manager to develop and implement best practice customer service policies and operating procedures
• Must become a ‘super user’ for the company’s B2B tool and train and promote accounts and inside / outside reps to utilize the tool


Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in an in-house sales or customer service management capacity
• Intimate knowledge of EDI testing and processing
• Experience with vendor compliance
• Proficiency with an ERP system, “Full Circle” preferred
• Experience using sales technologies, such as B2B and CRM systems
• Proficiency in MS Office programs with an emphasis on Excel
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to build strong and lasting relationships with accounts as well as co-workers
• Ability to multi-task and manage a large account-base
• Willingness to adapt to a fluctuating workload and adjust schedule accordingly during deadline times
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
