O'Neill Clothing has an amazing opportunity for a well rounded Associate Designer/Merchandiser for our Men's division. This position will support the design and development of our special makeup's for a large client.

Job Requirements:
- Meet with buyers along with O'Neill Account Manager to take notes on upcoming style requests.
- CAD designs for all Men's categories based off of direction from buyers.
- Revise CADs until a final style is approved.
- Create tech packs for approved styles including art separations and style matrices.
- Send out tech pack to vendors and track sampling status of style.
- Meet with Account manager and VP of Sales to review style samples, make fit/design comments and communicate with vendors to have samples created.
- Constant communication with vendors to make sure that delivery deadlines are met
- Work closely with Production on costing.
- Must be able to articulate knowledge of customer to O'Neill designers.


Qualifications
- Degree from fashion institute in Design, Product Development or Merchandising.
- 4+ years in Merchandising/Design/Product Development capacity
- Must be proficient with Illustrator and Photoshop
- Proven communication skills
- Ability to take direction from multiple influences such as O'Neill Sales, Design and customer.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Proven ability to be flexible and open to feedback.
