WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our Brimley Training Coach is responsible for the delivery of competency-based process and systems training programs. We are looking for someone who exhibits informed decision making to shape and refine training delivery, and someone with a clear focus on high quality and customer service. We need another reliable and resilient member of our team who is comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change on a regular basis! The individual chosen for this position will be flexible to support training on all shifts.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will lead the selection, development, certification, evaluation, and management of the Brimley Training Department and ensure that training is executed in a consistent and repeatable manner, including responsibilities within our learning environment. You will be accountable for training delivery logistics, including planning, scheduling and coordinating resources. You will maintain training records, while maintaining and procuring adequate supplies needed for training. You will collect training data and metrics and report results to management, seeking recommendations for process improvements and action plans.
You will also be responsible for the management, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of the training learning technology, data, and associated devices (i.e. Warehouse Management System training environments, mobile learning devices, RF devices, WMS production data extracts, etc.). You will partner with WM Production Support, ensuring all technical aspects of the Warehouse Management Systems training environments are performing as needed. You will troubleshoot and resolve basic user issues, manage training user ids, manage training packets and exercises, and update learning assets and programs in conjunction with training needs of the organization.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will support multiple shifts and key partners in each department, with different learning needs and varying distribution center operations! You will consistently connect with Brimley Leadership, Operations, Engineering, Nike Logistics System (NLS), DC Trainers regarding process improvements, training material changes, evaluations, new training needs, etc. You will build key relationships in Operations to build and sustain a scalable, flexible, and reliable Training Network, while also leading, coaching, mentoring, and supervising the Process Trainers performance as it relates to their role, always ensuring delivery excellence.
WHAT YOU BRING
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or a related discipline
• Miminum 2+ years of experience facilitating and delivering training programs
o 2 additional years in lieu of a degree
• Minimum 2+ years people leadership experience
• High proficiency with PC, Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• Demonstrated experience using analytical, investigative, interpersonal, written, and communicative skills to make recommendations and decisions
• Experience in driving consensus across teams, utilizing a team orientation and meaningful storytelling and influencing abilities
• Experience translating technical information to non-users
• Available to work flexible schedule when needed to accommodate all shifts
Preferred:
• 2+ years Warehouse Management experience
• Experience within a distribution or manufacturing environment
• Broad business exposure and direct experience in implementation of business change and process improvement initiatives
