Job Title: Training Content Developer, Customer Experience 
Reports to: Customer Experience Learning and Development Manager  
Location: Hybrid Remote – Reno Supported (Remote only in approved metro areas:  Reno, NV; Austin, TX; Pittsburgh, PA; Nashville, TN; Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Bozeman/Butte/Dillon, MT; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN; Freeport, ME; Baltimore, MD)

Compensation 
Pay range: $25.50 - $38.25 
Hiring range: $25.50 - $29.50

General Summary 
As the Training Content Developer, Customer Experience (CX), you will support the ongoing development, facilitation, and evaluation of our CX learning programs, including onboarding new CX Representatives. This position is an individual contributor role that reports into the CX Learning and Development Team. In this role, you will work with the CX Learning and Development Team to create, evaluate, and iterate inclusive and engaging learning programs to make an impact on our mission: to save our home planet.  
 
What You’ll Do 
·        Design and develop learning programs and materials, including instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and eLearning modules 
·        Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather content requirements and support the development of engaging and effective learning solutions 
·        Assist in evaluating learning programs to ensure learning outcomes are achieved utilizing Kirkpatrick’s Levels of Evaluation 
·        Audit and update learning courses and materials to ensure consistency and alignment with instructional design best practices and operational processes/product 
·        Facilitate learning sessions, both in person and virtually, to deliver programs and engage participants in interactive, inclusive, and collaborative learning experiences 
·        Create and maintain knowledge materials for learning programs and operational teams 
·        Partner with cross-functional departments to build creative and engaging learning opportunities that promotes Patagonia’s core mission and values 
·        Support administration of learning through enrollment, tracking, reporting, and evaluation 
·        Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in learning design and facilitation to contribute to the enhancement of our learning offerings

Experience You Bring 
·        Minimum of 1 year experience of instructional design, knowledge management, or training facilitation required
·        Experience with developing Salesforce, Microsoft D365 and Outdoor Apparel onboarding and training required
·        Experience facilitating customer service call center training required  
·        Strong passion for learning and employee development, with a desire to save our home planet 
·        Ability to facilitate inclusive learning sessions both in-person and virtually 
·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and engagingly 
·        Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories 
·        Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously 
·        Experience with learning management systems, knowledge base systems, and learning authoring tools preferred
·        Understanding of diversity, justice, equity, and inclusion in Learning & Development spaces 
 
Travel Requirements 
·        Occasional travel may be required to Reno for on-site activities once per quarter

Physical Requirements 
Interface with Patagonia provided technology (computer screens, software programs, headset, keyboard) to receive and input information to execute customer support actions.
