Summary:
In the position of Support Staff, Travel you will support employee travel by troubleshooting for the resolution in travel booking tools and systems. Report and document processes. Monitor and analyze company paid travel expenses for accuracy, completeness, and fraud.
Essential Job Functions:
- Research, resolve problems, and complete action items regarding travel bookings, payment, and financial reporting systems.
- Promptly evaluate travel bookings for propriety and those that require approval. Follow up communication on items in a timely fashion.
- Maintain and/or download travel data for review, evaluation, and/or retention.
- Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations primarily with the use of Excel.
- Work on Ad Hoc projects.
- Identify issues, provide travel program training and process improvements for management review.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Prefer higher education in Hospitality, Travel, and/or Business Administration.
- Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in travel or tourism industry
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in SAP & Concur, expense reporting systems
- Computer Skills Desired: Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including intermediate Excel skills. 10 Key by Touch.
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluent in written/spoken English.
Base Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
