About the Job:
The Shipping Clerk will be required to perform multiple functions including but not limited to the following.
• Handle the shipping and receiving of merchandise and supplies.
• Process, pack, and ship orders.
• Handle import / export documentation.
• Invoicing orders prior to shipping.
• Handle customer service questions as needed via phone as well as email.
• Tracking orders.
• Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Abide by all company safety and privacy protocols.
• Perform other warehouse related duties.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Ability to communicate well with others.
• Detail oriented.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be willing to work in a fast-paced often last-minute environment.
• Ability to operate a hand truck, pallet jack, and other common warehouse equipment
• Prior warehouse and e-com experience is a plus.
• Prior experience with Ship Station / UPS / USPS and international freight forwarders is a plus.
Physical Demands:
• Regularly required to lift and move shipments of 10-50lbs or more.
• Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Ability to stand, crouch, and climb ladders as needed.
• Ability to off load a truck.
COVID-19 Precautions:
• All employees are required to be vaccinated.
Compensation
• $18.00 p/h
• United Health Care insurance paid in full by the company.
