Fox is looking for an experienced, progressive Sr. Apparel Graphic Designer for tees, fleece and custom apparel. To help design, develop and manage the process for graphics that reflect our company image in the action sports industry. This position will be based in Newport Beach, CA.

Essential Functions of this Role:
• Designer directly responsible for creating Designs for use on Men's Sportswear Tees, Apparel, and Accessories.
• Supply accurate/complete Design Packs to the Product Development on schedule.
• Follows up with vendors on approvals for counter and production samples. Presents concepts for Line Reviews/Product Launch,
• Adheres to Sportswear Product Development timelines. Trims and Packaging hand offs have an early calendar hand off compared to the rest of the apparel line.
• Works coherently with Merchandising and Development to manage timelines and general business entities.
• Review/manage/communicate with Freelance Artists, and manage the Freelance Artist budget.
• Distribute design workload throughout Graphic Design team when needed, and allocate design resources to projects and product categories to meet company's calendar requirements.
• Supply and coordinate artwork with other Design departments to maintain a cohesive look with the design direction of the Fox Brand.
• Create seasonal Vibe presentations for inspiration and direction for Design Departments. Including graphics, photographs, slogans and phrases, etc.
• Create original, cutting-edge, industry-leading designs that achieve sales goals for Sportswear Departments.
• Design SMU (Special Make Up) product that meets specific directional goals and schedule set by high-level key accounts.
• Attend high-level key account meetings when required by Merchandiser.
• Must be available to travel worldwide for trend and Vibe inspiration.

Minimum Education, Experience and Skills Required:
• 5 years related work experience preferably within the action sports industry
• Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to manage multiple development projects, across several categories, within the set timeline and meeting the standards set by management.
• Ability to execute the development of complete projects, resolve issues and make recommendations to development and merchandising teams.
• Ability to work across multiple categories, meeting all calendar deadlines and standards set by management.
• Must have the ability to train and mentor employees
• Must have a strong attention to detail, ability to think on a conceptual level, with confident decision-making skills and good use of judgment. Project management and leadership skills are also necessary.
• Excellent time management skills are necessary with superb organization
• Must be able to work as part of a team and with a diverse group of people and projects
• Previous work experience in active apparel market
