Fox Head, Inc. a leader in the Motocross industry is looking for a Global Vice President of Information technology to join the team at its headquarters in Irvine.

The Vice President of Information Technology is responsible for all aspects of the company infrastructure. This position will work with executive management to drive strategic technology objectives. This position is responsible for developing, effectively implementing and maintaining leading edge technology solutions, which drive the business.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and effectively communicate the IT strategy to the Executive Team and appropriate companywide team members.
• Ensure the information technology strategic plans and objectives are responsive to the needs of the company’s growth and vision.
• Align IT initiatives with business priorities while balancing resource constraints (human and fiscal) to optimize IT investments.
• Evaluate overall information technology systems and functions, and advise senior management on recommended system conversions, integrations and enhancements.
• Responsible for the selection, acquisition, development, installation, maintenance and support of information technology for the company.
• Manage the project approval and selection process for system upgrades and drive projects.
• Ensure IT initiatives have clear business goals and measurable success metrics.
• Monitor and report on the performance of the IT initiatives including actual vs. expected results, budgets and project status.
• Ability to manage a widely distributed infrastructure, and lead a global IT team. Some domestic and international travel required.

Requirements:
The Vice President of IT is a member of the Executive team and is expected to contribute to the company’s overall growth and profitability. Requirements include:

• 10+ yrs. experience in Information Technology in a management role
• 3+ yrs. executive level strategic leadership
• Results oriented leader with diversified experience in Information Technology
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field Master’s Degree preferred
• Consumer Products background Needed -Apparel Product background preferred
• Business savvy with the ability to work effectively with other Executives to achieve key business and technology goals.
• Demonstrable track record of enterprise project management, including managing and sustaining improvements with software development and system performance.
• Experience developing/managing the customization, integration and conversion of information technology infrastructure.
• Experience building a new model to serve the IT needs of a growing and change oriented company.
• Excellent understanding of the complexities of business processes and experienced in leading complex business driven IT projects.
• Change agent focused, skilled in “change management concepts” and working as a business partner in a lean but high demand environment
• Strong working knowledge of IT infrastructure design, planning, implementation, and administration, including virtualization in VMware and vSphere environments, Windows domain administration, WAN/LAN network administration, SAN storage administration and DR planning.
• Understanding of enterprise business systems, including ERP, WMS, PLM, and retail POS. Knowledge of SAP and/or HighJump a huge plus.
