The Youth and Children’s Shoe Designer will be responsible for the conceptualization, expansion, and innovation of the Kids Shoe division for the TOMS Shoes brand. This candidate will have a strong background and substantial experience specializing in children’s footwear. In addition to standard children and youth shoe development experience, our ideal candidate will have a strong sense of style and a solid understanding of fashion and trends past, present and future.

Responsibilities :
- Provide creative direction for Youth and Children’s for each season in conjunction with the Men’s and Women’s lines
- Select key fabrics based on research with major customers, forecasting and trend indicators
- Understand color, texture, material and form as they relate to a high quality product and fashion forward design
- Work with Sales/Development and Retailers to develop key styles for each season
- Execute techpacks/specs relating to the Youth and Children’s line
- Attend trend/fabric shows
- Support teams in a design capacity to ensure timely execution of deliverables each season
- Willing to travel domestically and Internationally as needed

Requirements:
- Passion to inspire and engage through design
- 4-5+ years of kids and youth footwear design experience
- Strong knowledge of fabrics and construction
- Accessory design experience is a plus
- Design degree
- Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and Auto CAD

Compensation Commensurate with experience
