Responsibilities:
The Reporting programmer is responsible for ensuring all deliverables are high quality, including report coding, analysis, and documentation. Ensure compliance with business, technical, and audit requirements. Responsibilities also include end user support on use of reporting applications.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Analyze proposed system report and/or modification requests to determine viability and impact to internal departments.
• Follow programming guidelines, and verify the completeness, accuracy, validity, and integrity of reporting systems.
• Develop and drive the adoption of process improvements.
• Meet with end users to identify issues and propose options for solutions.
Qualifications:
• Strong relational database skills.
• Desire and ability to learn the programming languages used in our reporting applications.
• Testing and troubleshooting of the reporting applications.
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of people.
• Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, creativity, and innovation.
• Ability to collaborate and contribute in a team environment including international subsidiaries.
• Positive and active support for the company, the customer and co-workers.
Desired Qualifications:
• Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
• Basic SQL query knowledge.
• Multivalue database knowledge or other relational database structure.
• Basic hardware knowledge including printers, handheld scanners etc.
• Experience with integrating disparate applications.
