BRG Sports is the home of Bell, Riddell, Giro and Blackburn located in Scotts Valley, Calif.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager for Giro Cycling to join our team.

Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for all aspects of marketing communications, advertising, and public relations with a focused effort on growing brand awareness and strengthening brand image in our global market and after-market business areas.

Essential Job Functions:
· Establish marketing communication priorities and manage the execution of annual marketing plans
· Manage advertising strategies and campaigns that achieve worldwide brand marketing objectives
· Work closely with Brand Managers to ensure a consistent brand message and appearance across all product categories
· Support PR and advertising agency relationships
· Manage media schedules and adhere to project budgets
· Responsible for assisting and developing tactical marketing plans with international distributors
· Provide international markets with necessary assets to assist their advertising and PR objectives and maintain a consistent, strong, brand image in all markets worldwide
· Responsible for planning, reconciling and delivering all brand projects to budgets
· Manage the development and production of all printed and electronic collateral materials to achieve worldwide brand and product marketing objectives
· Ensure that Giro-sponsored teams and riders are represented in collateral and media channels
· Plan, develop and execute product catalog projects including product and action photo shoots, marketing program information, and dealer mailings in support of annual sales meetings
· Assist digital team in managing all aspects of consumer websites including site design, content and technologies. Responsible for developing bi-monthly content updates, annual product updates and the maintenance of all databases
· Focus on development of emerging social media programs to drive brand equity and awareness
· Manage and contribute to social media channels
· Manage digital calendar including campaigns, newsletters and contests
· Remain informed about cycling industry news, trends, and competitor product advancements
· Assist with tradeshow activities and promotions
· Assist with naming of new products and technologies

Education and Training:
· Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience
· 4-7 years marketing and/or sales experience – preferably in consumer sporting goods industry
· A strong understanding and working knowledge of design, color trends, and printing processes
· Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Project Manager and Mac based programs helpful

Skills and Abilities:
· Very detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to coordinate and manage internal and external resources while maintaining a team atmosphere
· Willingness to travel
· Passion for and good knowledge of bicycling industry and trends
