Do you want to make a difference supporting a highly dynamic financial team selling some of the best bicycles and cycling equipment on the market? If so, this may be your calling. The right candidate will be responsible for activities related to providing proactive business support to our independent bike dealers in the Specialized USA Division. Specific duties will include working with our sales and credit team to develop and implement financial models for key accounts, concept stores, and company owned stores. Additionally, you will be responsible for financial reporting and controls for company-owned stores. This key team member will also review financial statement information and assess the health of key accounts and propose recommendations to management team to improve financial performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop solid business partnering relationships with our key accounts.
• Develop solid understanding of financial position and financial drivers for key accounts to drive success
• Monitor dealer’s financial performance against financial plan and propose recommendations to management
• Developing financial models to assess viability of investments in current and future concept stores
• Visit key dealers, current and prospective concept stores, and company owned stores on an as needed basis
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 3-5 years’ experience as a financial analyst
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Hyperion and Oracle financials
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams: sales, marketing, and operations
Preferred Qualifications:
• Preferred (but not required) experience in/with basic tax understanding related to LLC vs. S-corp, etc.
