In our NIKE Retail Stores we use special job names for our positions: a Store Manager is called "Head Coach", an Assistant Store Manager is called "Assistant Head Coach", a department manager is called "Coach", a team leader is called Lead and a Sales Associates is called "Athlete".

We are looking for a Head Coach, Visual Merchandising & Styling responsible for driving the strategies, plans, and processes that ensure the highest level of visual merchandising and styling execution within Nike Town London. In this role you will:
Work with and lead a team including a Retail Operations specialist (product marketing) to adopt and apply Geo Visual Merchandising and styling direction.
Ensure a high standard of execution and retail marketing standards to ensure we are driving the complete Nike brand offense in London.
Lead, coach and inspire the Nike Town London VMS team with a clear vision of success and enable the team to deliver the highest visual standards in the industry, delivering benchmark results by driving process efficiency and personal development.
In collaboration with the Assistant Head Coach, VMS & Retail operations specialist to plan zonings based on consumer mindsets, key product stories and Product marketing elements.
Manage, track, and assess resources including full accountability for inventory, maintenance of fixtures, fittings, mannequins, and VMS materials as well as allocation and focus of human resources to ensure a world-class consumer experience on a 365 base.
Utilizes expertise and in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives to understand complex issues and implications, taking into consideration multiple perspectives and future implications to determine solutions. Has the ability to process non-routine information and convey complex information across diverse stakeholders/audiences.
Proven ability to work alongside key stakeholders and third-party vendors.
The role requires an ability to manage multiple workstreams and projects at one time. Delivering on deadlines in order to allow projects to progress on time is an integral part of the role.
Analyze business results and drive a balance between commerciality and brand experience. Work in partnership with VMS coaches to drive business KPIs, ensuring regular photo capture of product executions. Ensure executions align with Global/Geo brand strategies, use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve the consumer experience.
Execute training strategies to ensure the team has adequate knowledge of visual standards, visual merchandising techniques, seasonal trends and develop strong presentation and training skills.
Accountable for meeting short- and long-term targets that impact a large store or a group of stores. Responsible for performance management, pay and resourcing decisions for subordinate managers and associates.

In this role, you will join the Nike Store Visual Merchandising & Styling team for Nike Town London reporting into the Senior Head Coach . You will be based in the heart of London, and the store offices in the same building.
As part of your role, you will be partnering up with internal stakeholders in London, EMEA and commercial functions as well as external stakeholders with suppliers, agencies, and third-party vendors.

What you bring:
A passion for NIKE and/or love of sport
Some experience in retail and/or leadership positions
Very good command of English language (written and spoken)
Experience and competency in serving exceptional consumer service
Ability to coach and develop a strong team
Strong focus on communication
Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends
