We are expanding our global operations and are in the process of establishing our US distribution center in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. We are looking for qualified individuals who share our passion for sports to join our fast-growing company and global team.
Job Summary:
Our US distribution operation is a critical component of our customer focused e-commerce business. In close collaboration with the global Warehouse and Logistics team based in the UK and local US Business Unit Management the Warehouse Manager plans, directs, and coordinates transportation, storage, and distribution activities at our Rancho Santa Margarita, California distribution center in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Establish and supervise a team of 3-5 warehouse associates in outbound, inbound and inventory operations
• Develop and drive a strong working relationship and effective communication between US Warehouse and Global Warehouse Management
• Hire, train, supervise, motivate, and develop warehouse staff.
• Schedule employees in manner to get all work done timely and efficiently
• Train, coach and lead each employee to the standards of their job description.
• Ensure highest level of professional behavior, positive can-do attitude and customer service towards internal personnel, vendors, and end customers
• Implement and manage all aspects of shipping and receiving in collaboration with global logistics team
• Implement and manage warehouse management processes and procedures, quality control processes and various indicator systems in compliance with internal procedures and external regulations
• Regularly review & document warehouse inbound & outbound processes, make recommendations for increased efficiencies and measures for productivity and capacity.
• Manage all distribution and logistics, including UPS, FedEx, Truck load and LTL as well as direct pick ups
• Provide daily and weekly inbound/outbound/inventory reports
• Understand workflow for e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and EDI
• Manage inventory accuracy
• Manage all warehouse operational budgets and expenses
• Maintain warehouse facilities to the highest level of cleanliness and organization
• Maintain and manage warehouse facilities’ security
• Perform and maintain records for all employee training, including forklift, safe operating procedures, productivity, and accuracy
• Develop best practice for health and safety in all aspects of warehouse operations including forklift safety and safe lifting complying with OSHA laws and regulations.
• Effectively oversee safety logs for warehouse equipment and industrial vehicles.
