A Los Angeles bases skateboard lifestyle brand is looking a fulltime Warehouse Worker for immediate hire.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for various tasks, including receiving, storing, and distributing products and materials efficiently and accurately. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
-Receive incoming shipments and verify their accuracy by comparing them with the corresponding purchase orders or packing slips.
-Unload and unpack products from delivery trucks using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
-Sort, organize, and store products in designated areas within the warehouse according to established procedures.
-Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and periodic stock audits.
-Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that products are properly labeled and prepared for shipment.
-Load outbound shipments onto delivery trucks while adhering to safety protocols and weight distribution guidelines.
-Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe and responsible manner.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that aisles, storage areas, and equipment are kept tidy and free of hazards.
-Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse operations and ensure timely order fulfillment.
-Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, security, and quality control.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
-Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is a plus.
-Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory management.
-Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
-Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software is an advantage.
-Flexibility to work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
