O’Neal Motocross is looking for a self-motivated, outgoing, action sports enthusiast to design and implement websites for our brands.
About O’Neal:
O'NEAL has been at the forefront of the Motocross industry since 1970! Since the inception of O’Neal, brands such as Azonic, Blur Optics, and Rockhard helmets have been added to our lineup.
Job Functions:
Responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of all our websites, utilizing both graphic design skills and technical knowledge.
Design and implement online ads, emails blasts, web pages as needed for the following brands: O’Neal, Azonic, Rockhard Helmets and Blur Optics
Seasonal redesign and implementation of websites with fresh new concepts
Facebook and twitter updates as needed
Other design projects as assigned
Ability to think outside of the box and bring new conceptual ideas to projects
Must possess great attention to detail and be an organized team player
Works closely with the Art Department to maintain look and feel of the brands
Must be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines while working efficiently and on time
Organize and prioritize your own workload
Knowledge of competition
Qualifications:
Knowledge and involvement in the action sports industry
Strict attention to detail, referencing information against Word and/or Excel sheets
Strong design foundation including typography, composition and color theory, as well as experience with photography
4+ years experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications
Knowledge of latest web technologies and trends
Knowledge of Facebook and Twitter
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and a Basic understanding of PHP and Javascript
Experience with Flash and Actionscript is a huge plus
After Effects and video editing a plus
Bachelor's degree in art or multimedia or a minimum of two years related experience. Must have intermediate knowledge in dreamweaver and advanced photoshop knowledge.
This is an in-house, full-time position located in Simi Valley, CA
